ALPS Extreme Prosthetic Liner

The ALPS Extreme Liner is designed to provide protection and cushioning for the residual limb while helping improve control of the prosthesis.

Its limited vertical-stretch fabric helps reduce pistoning while allowing horizontal stretch for a comfortable fit. The Extreme Liner is available with either ALPS GripGel or firmer High Density (HD) Gel, allowing the user to select the material best suited to their needs.

Available for both above-knee (AK/transfemoral) and below-knee (BK/transtibial) prosthetic users.

Choose Your Gel Type

GripGel

ALPS GripGel has a smooth, tacky texture that provides strong adhesion to the residual limb.

Its tackiness can help reduce bunching and provides secure contact between the skin and liner.

GripGel is generally intended for users with healthy skin tissue.

High Density (HD) Gel

ALPS High Density Gel has a denser, firmer feel.

The firmer material combines cushioning with increased control and stability and may be appropriate for more active prosthetic users or users transitioning from a silicone liner to a gel liner.

Locking or Cushion?

Locking

Choose Locking if your prosthesis uses a compatible distal locking system.

The locking Extreme Liner incorporates a reinforced matrix designed to help reduce distal pistoning and contain redundant tissue.

Cushion

Choose Cushion if your prosthetic suspension system does not require a distal locking attachment.

If you are unsure whether your current prosthesis requires a Locking or Cushion liner, check with your prosthetist before ordering.

Choose Your Thickness

The ALPS Extreme Liner is available in:

• 3mm Uniform
• 6mm Uniform

Changing liner thickness can affect the fit of your existing prosthetic socket.

If you currently wear a different thickness or a different model of liner, consult your prosthetist before changing liner thickness.

Don’t Guess Your Liner Size

Correct sizing is extremely important.

Measure the circumference of your residual limb 6 cm (approximately 2⅜ inches) above the distal end.

Use that measurement to select your liner size:
