The ALPS Superior Performance Liner is designed for prosthetic users looking for a combination of residual limb protection, comfort, stability, and improved control of the prosthetic leg.

A key feature of the Superior Performance Liner is its black fabric with highly reduced vertical stretch.

Limiting vertical movement helps reduce pistoning and improve control while the gel helps protect the residual limb from vertical and shear forces.

The Superior Performance Liner is available in both GripGel and High Density (HD) Gel, allowing users to choose between greater tackiness/adhesion or a firmer gel designed for increased control and stability.

Choose Your Gel Type

GripGel

ALPS GripGel has a smooth, tacky texture that provides strong adhesion to the residual limb.

The tackiness helps maintain contact with the skin and can help reduce bunching.

GripGel is generally intended for amputees with healthy skin tissue.

High Density (HD) Gel

ALPS High Density Gel has a denser, firmer texture designed to combine comfort with greater control and stability.

It may be appropriate for more active prosthetic users or users transitioning from a silicone liner to a gel liner.

Locking or Cushion?

Locking

Choose Locking if your prosthesis uses a compatible distal locking suspension system.

The locking version incorporates a reinforced distal matrix designed to help reduce distal pistoning and contain redundant tissue.

Cushion

Choose Cushion if your suspension system does not require a distal locking attachment.

If you are unsure which suspension type your prosthesis requires, check with your prosthetist before ordering.

Choose Your Thickness

Available in:

• 3mm Uniform
• 6mm Uniform

Liner thickness affects the amount of space occupied inside the prosthetic socket.

Changing from your existing liner thickness or liner model may therefore affect socket fit. Consult your prosthetist before making a significant change from your current liner.

Don’t Guess Your Liner Size

Measure the circumference of your residual limb 6 cm (approximately 2⅜ inches) above the distal end.

Do not assume that the size of another brand or liner model translates directly to the same ALPS liner size. Measure before ordering.

Important Fit Information

Choosing the correct liner size is extremely important. Please carefully review the manufacturer’s sizing instructions before ordering.

Changing liner models, manufacturers, gel types, or thicknesses can change the way your residual limb fits inside your existing prosthetic socket.

Even if two liners have similar measurements, they may not occupy the socket in exactly the same way.
